XV Petersburg Dialogue Forum

On July 14-16 St. Petersburg hosted the 15th Forum Petersburg Dialogue", which was organized by our company.

The fifteenth Forum, set up in 2001 upon the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Federal Chancellor of Germany Gerhard Schröder, has set several records straight away. One of the main — was the focus on youth issues. It was decided to keep on discussing this issue in October at Youth Dialogue" Forum in Munich. Altogether, Petersburg Dialogue" includes 10 thematic working groups, whose members discuss specific issues of cooperation between Russia and Germany.

Participants

This year attracted a record number of participants — over 390, while generally the Forum is attended by nearly two hundred people. Among them are — prominent public people, politicians, businessmen, heads of cultural institutions and the media.

On the part of the Russian government, the Forum was attended by V.A. Zubkov, Russian Special Presidential Representative for Cooperation with —Gas Exporting Countries— Forum; V.A. Dmitriev, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation; V.P. Terekhov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation M.A. Fedotov, Advisor to the President of Russian Federation and many others.

On the part of the German government, the Forum was attended by Poffala Ronald, former Federal Minister Prof. Dr. Wilfried Bergmann, member of the Senate the European Academy of Sciences and Arts Matthias Platzeck, former Minister President, Chairman of the Board of the German-Russian Forum, Deputy Chairman of the CDU/CSU parliamentary fraction for the Common Foreign and Security Policy.

The program

The event opened with a solemn funeral ceremony of laying flowers in memory of the fallen during the World War 2 in 1941-1945. The cultural part of the program included a visit to Peterhof, the Hermitage and Faberge Museum upon the choice. Then the participants were able to attend a news conference to mark the opening of the Forum and the opening ceremony, where following the welcome words and reports, dedicated to the main topic, Dr. Peter Benisch Award was given.

The second day of the event, July 15, saw the meeting of working groups to discuss the following topics Civil Society", Healthcare", Culture", Science and Education", Media" and other. The group meetings were followed by panel discussions and press-fits Forum Chairman Petersburg Dialogue " VA. Zubkov and R.Pofalla. The day ended with a gala dinner.

The organization

We were responsible for the quality of the event organization and its perfect conduction.

Our services in the framework of the event included: participants accommodation meals: lunches, coffee breaks, gala dinner technical component of the event (rental of rooms and sites, provision of equipment, technical support), transportation for participants throughout the whole event creation and implementation of the cultural program.
