On May 15-16, in cooperation with our company, The Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences (Smolny College) of the SPbU hosted the international conference "Economics of Vices and Virtues”. We were responsible for the accommodation of participants and the purchase of air and railway tickets.
The conference was held under the initiative of the SPbU Center for the Study of Economic Culture and former Minister of Finance Alexei L. Kudrin, who was directly involved in it. The sessions covered preferences and habits in terms of economics and culture, history and specific policy making, the interpretation of consumer behavior and prohibitions problem. "Whether private vices result in public benefit?" — The speakers from universities of Russia, the CIS, Europe and the United States tried to respond to this main provocative question.
